Theresa Mary (Kennedy) O'Driscoll

It is with broken hearts that we sadly announce the peaceful passing of  Theresa a loving  mother, wife, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend.

Theresa was predeceased by her two darling sons, Jeffery and Aiden.  Her parents, James and Shirley Kennedy, brother Bobby (Lillian), sister Ann Chidley and parents-in-law Matthew and Sheila O’Driscoll, brothers-in-law Albert and John, sisters-in-law Cindy O’Driscoll, Marguerite Burke, Hilda Power and Rhodie O’Driscoll, and all deceased members of the Kennedy and O’Driscoll families.

Leaving to mourn with great loss, her devoted husband and best friend of 43 years, Albert, sisters: Donna Carey (Paddy), Irene Hutchings (Loyola), brothers: Jimmy (Debbie), Mikie (Margie), David (Penny), Ricky (Kay) and Wade (Karen).  Sisters-in-law: Barb Doyle (Leo), Pam Gowan (Keith), and Catherine Kennedy, brothers-in-law: Gary (Anita), Kenny, Rod (Cheryl) and Gerard Chidley.  Special nieces and nephews, Taylor Kennedy, Cassandra Carey, Mandy Doyle, and Keith and Dale O’Driscoll.  Also mourning her deeply are several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends of the Kennedy and O’Driscoll families.  Theresa had a special bond with Gracie Pottle and her mom, Amy.  Gracie was like a daughter to Theresa.

Theresa was a lady who had an infectious laugh, joke to tell and the brightest smile for all of those she met.  Her presence could be felt before entering a room.  She was and will be loved and deeply missed to all of those who knew her.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7th from 2:00 to 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. Peter and Paul RC Church, Bay Bulls on Thursday, May 8th, 2025 at 11:00 am with inurnment to follow at Our Lady of Mount Loretta Cemetery, Bay Bulls.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Theresa's memory may be made the the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador.
