William Duggan Obituary
It is with immense sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved William (Eugene) Duggan at the age of 81. He passed peacefully away on February 24th, 2022 at the Health Sciences Centre surrounded by his three adoring children.
Eugene was predeceased by his wife, Catherine, parents, John and Catherine Duggan, siblings, Sally Wickens, Nellie Ryan, and Anna Duggan, and son-in-law Jason Carew.
Leaving to mourn are his devoted and loving family, daughters Trina (Chris) and Tracy, son Trevor (Evan); grandchildren Taryn, Lynden, Kendra, Kolby, Maddie, Tanner, Taylor and Tyler; brother Kevin (Irene); special friend Ricky (Kathy), and special niece Sherry Lynn (Paul).
The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to everyone involved in Eugene’s care. In particular, Michelle Rossiter RN, who went above and beyond, looking after Eugene with the utmost kindness and compassion, Katie O’Brien RPh at Baltimore Pharmacy, Shannon Ash RN at the Health Sciences Centre as well as the other nurses who cared for Eugene during his short stay in the hospital. These nurses showed Eugene what true caring and compassion looks like.
He brought so much joy and happiness to the lives of those around him, and was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever possible. A man of few words, yet he touched the lives of so many, leaving a lasting impression and fond memories. He will be deeply missed, and always remembered.
As per Eugene’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family ceremony will occur at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of one's choice.
